How to Apply for Colour Voter ID Card Online

If you are 18+ and want to get your color voter ID card, then no need to go to election commission office, just sit relax because now you can apply for color voter ID card by using your smart phone or laptop.
You can get voter card by following few steps from your home –

Need Your Personal Email ID –

Before applying color voter ID card you should have a personal email id and mobile number. Don’t use official email ids. Visit on election commission’s website http://eci-citizenservices.nic.in/ and click on new registration.

Fill Out The Form Carefully –

Fill all the information very carefully because its an important ID card. You may send jail if you will give wrong information. You will have to upload a color passport size photo with white background. Now save and submit the form.

Information Can Be Changed –

You can change your details within 15 days after submit the form. You can check online status of voter application.

Verification –

After few days your area booth level officer (BLO) appointed by election commission will come to your home and he will check the documents which have been uploaded and will take hard copies with him for verification. Within one month you will be received your voter ID card by post.

These Documents Will Have To Upload –

You will have to upload the scanned copy of separate documents for address proof and ID proof. You can use scanned copy of any two out of these documents-
